With Valentine's Day just two weeks away, we've been thinking about our favorite pairings. Whether it's apple pie and vanilla ice cream or Dominic Toretto and a Dodge Charger, it doesn't have to be about romance to feel the love between a perfect pair. With that in mind, we put together a few of our favorites.
1. Chicken and waffles
It's hard to beat fried chicken and waffles for that perfect blend of savory and sweet. And if it's done right, with a little bit of heat, the spicy chicken is the ideal complement to the sweetness of the waffles and syrup.
2. Coffee and chocolate
Sure, Big Candy wants to convince you that peanut butter and chocolate is the perfect pair but we know it's really coffee that goes best with chocolate. We're not talking about a mocha frappe. Be serious. Have you ever had a flourless chocolate cake with espresso mousse?
3. Hall & Oates
This Valentine's Day, whatever your method of modern love, we know you've got a kiss on your list. Don't say it isn't so. Even if you're a family man, you need a little one on one to make your dreams come true. But Hall without Oates? I can't go for that, no way.
4. Ink and paper
We stare at screens all day. What better way to recapture a bit of our humanity than to write someone a note on paper with an ink pen? It could be a love note or a simple hello, but a handwritten note lets them know you really care. Check yes if you agree.
5. Your glasses and PogoCam
You knew it was coming. We certainly think that PogoCam is the jelly to your glasses's peanut butter. For those romantic outings, you don't want your partner to feel like you're in a deeper relationship with your screen. Capture your moments together on PogoCam without ever looking down.
